I strive for perfection in my craft, so that items commissioned will fulfil the purpose for which they are made, give pleasure, and will last longer than they are needed.
Working almost entirely to commission, all pieces produced by RMD are hand-crafted and made to the client's individual requirements.
Quality timber is purchased from selected timber yards and carefully chosen to suit its purpose. I use traditional construction methods including mortice and tenon, and hand cut dovetail joints.
